Tickets & Entry

Are tickets refundable?

All festival tickets are non-refundable. If you have an issue with your ticket, please contact the Gaia Beats team

Can I leave and re-enter the festival?

Yes. Re-entry is allowed at all times with a valid wristband. Lost wristbands cannot be replaced and a new ticket must be purchased.

What are the festival gate opening times?

Ticket Office is open:

Friday: 12:00 – 22:00
Saturday: 09:00 – 22:00
Sunday: 09:00 – 22:00

Gate Security is open 25 Hours from Friday 12:00 - Monday 9:00

 

Venue Location

Where does Gaia Beats take place?

Gaia Beats takes place at Sense Hot Spring, a natural wellness venue surrounded by trees and hills just outside Chiang Mai.

Are the hot springs open during the festival?

Yes. The venue is naturally fed by hot spring water, and a number of hot tubs and bathing areas will be available for guests to enjoy during the festival for an additional fee.

Are there quiet places to relax away from the music?

Yes. The venue includes shaded areas, grassy spaces, and quieter zones for rest and reflection.

Travel & Transport

How do I get to Gaia Beats from Chiang Mai?

You can reach the festival by:

  • Pre-booked festival shuttle bus
  • Taxi or ride-hailing services (Grab, Bolt, etc.)
  • Local yellow songthaew shared taxis

Is there a shuttle bus from Chiang Mai?

Yes. A round-trip shuttle service runs between Chiang Mai city and the festival venue. Shuttle tickets must be booked in advance.

Can I drive to the festival?

Yes, but you must park at the official Gaia Beats parking area. Driving directly to the hot spring venue is not permitted.

Camping

Is camping included with a ticket?

Yes. Camping is free with a valid festival ticket if you bring your own gear.

Are there different camping areas?

Yes. There are two camping zones:

  • Family Camping — a quieter area for families and children.
  • General Camping — our main camping area for most guests, close to the heart of the festival.
  • When does camping open and close?

    The campsite opens Friday from midday.
    Camping is available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
    All campers must leave by Monday midday.

    Are campfires or cooking allowed?

    No personal fires, candles, stoves, or open flames are allowed. Only official managed fire areas may be used.

    Are pets allowed?

    No. Pets are not permitted at the festival.

    Food, Drinks & Payments

    Can I bring my own alcohol?

    No outside alcohol is allowed anywhere on site or in camping areas.

    Are drinks sold at the festival?

    Yes. Bars will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with alcohol available during legally permitted hours.

    There will also be plenty of other options around the festival, including coffee, chai, fresh juices, kombucha, cacao, and more.

    Is drinking water available?

    Yes. Free drinking water is available on site. Please bring a reusable bottle or cup.

    Can I bring food?

    Small personal food items are allowed in camping areas, but cooking equipment is not permitted.

    Are card payments accepted?

    Card payments are generally not accepted. Most vendors accept cash, and many also accept Thai bank transfers.

    Is there an ATM on site?

    The closest ATMs are around a 15-minute walk away at Sahakorn Market. We hope to have an ATM on site for 2027, but this is not confirmed yet, so please plan to bring enough cash.

    Safety & Community

    Is Gaia Beats family-friendly?

    Yes. Gaia Beats is an all-ages festival.

    Is there security and medical support on site?

    Yes. There is 24-hour security and a medical team present throughout the festival.

    What if I need help during the festival?

    If you need assistance, you can visit the Info Point or the Medical Point. You can also ask any member of staff, including volunteers, bar staff, security, or gate staff, and they will help or guide you to the right place.

    What happens if I lose something?

    If you lose something during the festival, please check with the Info Point in the market area or the Ticket Office near the front gate. Lost items that are found will be brought to one of these locations.

    Practical Tips

    What should I bring?

    We recommend bringing:

  • Warm clothing for cold nights
  • Sun protection
  • Mosquito repellent
  • A reusable water bottle, cup, and utensils
  • Is there phone signal at the venue?

    Phone signal can be unreliable at the venue. We are planning to bring in our own internet solutions for 2027 to improve connectivity.

    Music & Programming

    What time does the music finish each night?

    The main music stages finish around midnight. After that, quieter late-night gatherings and performances continue until about 3:00 AM.
